#8784 closed defect (fixed)

FileUploader in ContentPane is unclickable

This problem is on Windows FF only. It's not the Contentpane that is the problem, it is a SWF embedded with transparency on. When Flash is transparent, Win FF renders scrolling boxes above the SWF; so you are clicking on teh scrolling box, not the SWF.

The fix is to put it in an iframe, but I'm not sure how long that will take. For now the workaround is to not have the FileUploader? in any scrolling content.

Alt fix: If it's in a ContentPane?, set the overflow:hidden. It needs to be that for any scrolling content the SWF is within.

I've looked into the iframe fix and it's pretty ugly. It will take some time.

PInting this. It won't be fixed anytime soon. Devs will have to work around it for now.
