#8721 closed enhancement (fixed)

NodeList-fx could return NodeList

Description

There are a lot of cases where it would be nice to set off an animation series for a NodeList? and allow further chained operations to take place on that list.

eg:

dojo.query("li").animateProperty({ opacity:1 }).query("a")...

this will become more apparent when NodeList? operations can traverse / stash / end better.

I have an extremely small seemingly elegant solution: if the object passed to the animation contains an "auto" value (and is truthy), play the animations immediately and return the nodelist.

suggested patch attached.

(In [21804]) fixes #8721 - introduce auto:true support to NodeList?-fx animations to provide a way to automatically play the animation and return the nodelist for further chaining.
