IE8 a11y: all combobox choices are spoken as arrow through them

Description

With IE8 beta 2 and JAWS 10 when I arrow into the drop down list of choices for a combobox or filteringSelect, the entire list of choices is spoken not just the one with focus. This is a placeholder ticket since I suspect this is an issue of IE8 not properly supporting the activedescendent ARIA property.

This has changed some. IE 8 RC1 with JAWS 10.0.1031U will still speak all of the choices when the list box is first opened, but will only speak the one with focus once the arrow key is used within the list. I'm leaving this open to track with the released version of IE8 but the current behavior is acceptable for Dojo 1.3. Also, when I clear the field to display the entire list, then arrow down, in IE8 focus goes to the second item in the list.

Note that the problem of moving to the second item only happens when the list is already open and is intermittent, I can't find a repeatable example.

This seems to be a problem in IE 8 with list items - it always speaks all of the items in a list when one of them gets focus. This problem is also seen in the ARIA tree examples (http://cookiecrook.com/test/aria/tree/ariatree.html) that have been implemented using li elements - IE 8 speaks all of the items in the tree when it gets focused. Note that looking at this using Inspect 32 - the parent of the current item with focus is the entire grouping of items. Closing as wontfix since this is an IE 8 issue and I don't know when the next IE update will occur.

Focus going to the second item in the list is no longer apparent. Also, IE 8 speaks the hidden "previous choices" / "more choices" items - again and IE issue with hidden items.
