#7232 closed enhancement (fixed)

No documented way to programmatically activate an instance of InlineEditBox

Reported by: MaxMotovilov Owned by: Douglas Hays

Component: Dijit Version: 1.1.1

Description

I couldn't figure a way to do it from the docs; here's what I came up with after reading the source:

============== /* node points to <span> element the dijit is associated with */ node.focus(); dijit.byNode( node )._onClick(null); ==============

Since this calls a private method, it can't be right. How about setEditing() or something?
