Description
Because of the margin around toolbar buttons, the dropdowns overlap the toolbar, rather than appearing below it.

(In [14125]) Prevent drop down menus / color pickers from overlapping toolbar by removing margin around buttons. Fixes #7038. Also did some general cleanup, plus some preliminary work on button vertical alignments (refs #6650).
