#6944 closed defect (fixed)

invalid security certificate for website

Reported by: tvachon Owned by: Dustin Machi
Priority: high Milestone: 1.2
Component: Website Version:
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:

Description

Using Firefox 3, clicking "login" from the dojo main page leads to a "Secure Connection Failed" message, with details like:

dojotoolkit.org uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed. The certificate is only valid for www.dojotoolkit.org

Going directly to https://www.dojotoolkit.org/user shows just:

The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed.

mark all (open) tickets w/blank milestones to be "tbd"; their milestones need to be set to a version number or to "future"

I think this is fixed now: the SSL cert is signed by "Equifax Secure Global eBusiness CA-1", which is in the FF3 cert repository at least. The page is mixed encrypted and unencrypted, though.
