as per the discussion in the forums:
We should pass the animation instance's node to the start: function if it is in fact a function.
there is a note at the bottom of the thread from me suggesting we support auto calculations, too.
dojo.anim(n,{ width: "+=100" });
but the same should go in style() too (though this should probably be a separate ticket)
