Description
This is inconsistent with Dijit. Shouldn't it be specified in CSS?

I was confusing the RichText? attributes with the AlwaysShowToolbar? plugin... two different things -- see #6400 for the latter

Not sure if it's possible to change this but anyway, it would have to wait until 2.0 as it's an API change.

Not sure why I changed this to "future", 2.0 is the only chance to remove an attribute.

Actually, I don't think we'll port the Editor to 2.0 at all.

add to that the minHeight attribute, which also mimics a CSS name, but with different meaning, I think, and the plugin name, which doesn't reflect the auto-expanding nature.
Given deprecation rules, perhaps the easiest thing to do is start over with a new plugin and deprecate this one?
