Also happens in Windows on the "actual" (not Minefield) FF3 Beta 4. Does not happen in IE.

Milestone: 1.11.2
Summary: File input too wide for dialog on Mac FirefoxDialog: File input too wide for dialog (FF)

(Updating bug description as per Mark noting that unfortunately it occurs on Windows also.)

This is unfortunate although in the (unusual?) case where a Dialog contains a file dialog can workaround this by doing:

<div dojoType="dijit.Dialog" ...>
  <div style="width: 300px;">
     ... dialog content ...
  </div>
</div>

(In [13128]) Add example of setting width on the dialog, to workaround FF bug with file input controls. Refs #5976.

Resolution: wontfix
Status: newclosed

On second, just not going to fix this; users can apply the workaround shown in the test file above (just setting a width). Same thing you need to do when the Dialog contains random text of indeterminate width.

(In [20925]) Use min-width not width, so that (at least in IE) in high contrast mode, the dialog will expand past 350px to fit the entire button.

Refs #5976.
