#5281 closed enhancement (fixed)

ComboBox/FilteringSelect autocomplete any part of string

The option to make autocomplete match any part of the string would be nice. Currently only the beginning of the string is matched. In some scenarios filtering results based on any part of the searchAttr would be prefered.

I'd suggest calling the parameter autoCompleteAnywhere or autoCompleteBeginningOnly or something similar.

//		Argument to data provider.
// Specifies rule for matching typed in string w/list of available auto-completions.
// startString - look for auto-completions that start w/the specified string.
// subString - look for auto-completions containing the typed in string.
// startWord - look for auto-completions where any word starts w/the typed in string.
searchType: "stringstart",,
