#4600 closed defect (wontfix)

popups: close when area scrolls (FF2)

Reported by: Adam Peller Owned by: bill
Priority: high Milestone: 1.4
Component: Dijit Version: 0.9

Blocked By: Blocking:

Description (last modified by bill)

in themeTester.html go to the Editable Text tab, then scroll down to the dijit.form.DateTextBox? example. Enter something which isn't a date like "abcd". See the tooltip appear. You may still have the calendar popup around. Now, scroll the content in the tab. The DateTextBox? will scroll out of view, but the tooltip and calendar popups will remain.

only tried on FF 2

The popups should all close when you touch the scroll bar, or any random area on the screen (but they aren't on FF2/mac; that's a bug).

I'd just like to close the popups when the area scrolls. See also #5777.

This only seems to happen on FF2. I justed tested on FF3/mac, FF3/win, safari, and IE7, and the popups all close there when scrolling an inner div. They close in general when scrolling the browser window too, except on safari, but even in that case they move with the element so there isn't an issue.

I'm going to close this as wontfix since I don't want to put any more time into supporting FF2.
