8742 seems to fix the styling issue, but tabcontainer ignored [or maybe rather pagecontainer] fails to recognize 'selectedChild="id"' or [would it be better to] use selected='true' in the child container? either way, patch enables selectedChild='id' in TabContainer?, and set's focus accordingly on startup.

That's a problem in PageContainer? and TabContainer?; filed bug #3251 to track it. Not sure if I want that parameter at all.
