Description
In Dojo Toolikt home page we are encouraged to use the bower package manager, but it seems to be officially dead by the bower developer community - https://community.plone.org/t/bower-is-now-officially-dead/4246
What are your saying about this? Should we all continue to make use of bower?

bower still works (and took a fair amount of work to add support), but I agree that it is dead and we'll likely update the site to remove mention of it in the near future. npm works well enough, just keep in mind some of the caveats when using dstore and themes ( https://github.com/SitePen/dgrid/blob/master/doc/usage/npm.md ).
Also there was a squatter for a while on dijit and dojox, so some versions of dijit and dojox are not available on npm.
