#16973 closed defect (fixed)

BorderContainer: "getSplitter" function does not support "leading" or "trailing"

Reported by: bill Owned by: bill
Priority: undecided Milestone: 1.9
Component: Dijit Version: 1.8.3
Keywords: Cc:
Blocked By: Blocking:

Description

Because the "setupChild" function of dijit/layout/BorderContainer overwrites the "region" value of the "leading" or "trailing" region with either "left" or "right", then later calls to "getSplitter" do not function properly when "leading" or "trailing" is passed as a parameter.

It's also technically incorrect to be changing the region value set on a widget.
