Dijit/Editor: Never ending link problem

Description

Description

If a link is the last element in the editor's input field, there are certain constellations in which you cannot change to normal text input anymore: Every text that is typed in gets added to the link.

Steps to reproduce the issue

Go to http://archive.dojotoolkit.org/nightly/dojotoolkit/dijit/themes/themeTester.html and select the tab "Editor"

Clear the input field of the editor. Make sure, that it is really empty (by using backspace and the delete key).

Click in the toolbar on the "chain" icon so as to add a link. Provide all the required information in the tooltip dialog and click "set".

Back in the editor, use the left arrow key to navigate "inside" the link text. Chance the link text by adding some characters.

Now go back to the end of the line by either using the right arrow key or the end key. Try to continue writing. All the input will be added to the link text and there seems to be no way to stop this.

Thanks for the detailed instructions. FYI, there's an Editor component for editor bugs.

Unlikely this will be fixed unless someone wants to supply a patch (including a test case).
