Note that this issue does not occur under IE7 64-bit, IE8 64-bit, or IE6 32-bit.

Colin, thanks for the find, diagnostics, and patch!

I don't have a 64-bit IE9 (btw, that is IE9, correct?) VM handy...could you run a quick test and tell me what you see?
