When I click on Drop Down Icon (Right) of dateTextBox Date picker pop opens and immediately disappears. It works fine IE browsers 7 and below, but not in 8. Is there any settings needs to check to get it worked in IE8?

This sounds similar to #12804, I wonder if it's already fixed in 1.7.

@doughays: Ok , but I wonder it happens with system's IE8. Is there any specific thing in relation to this which I am missing. Please advice. Similar thing happens with my IE 8 for dijit.popupmenuitem too. @Bill : Thanks Bill for the info. Yes I tried it in v1.7, It's returning the value from Dijit.form.DateTextBox?, but to keep it pop up open I have to press the drop down button and needs to move focus to calendar pop up. If I click on drop down button and released it then Calendar Pop Up too disappears. quite weird behaviour. Please advice.

I ran
http://download.dojotoolkit.org/release-1.6.1/dojo-release-1.6.1/dijit/tests/form/test_DateTextBox.html
with IE8 and the popup did not auto-close for me.

Please do not reopen without attaching a failing testcase. Also, please indicate what happens when you open the 1.6.1/test_DateTextBox.html link above in your IE8 and then click the down arrow icon box. There are no special settings that you need in IE8.
