Description

Dojo Version : 0.3.1 Firefox Version : 1.5.0.6 Affected Component : RichText? Widget Email : caizonghe_at_yahoo_dot_com_dot_sg Issue:

An instance of the RichText? Widget was instantiated and an attempt to prepopulate the content with a given string fails in FF 1.5.0.6, and displays nothing instead.

Code Snippet: myInsertionPoint is a dom reference myRichTextBox = dojo.widget.fromScript("RichText?", {}, myInsertionPoint); myRichTextBox.replaceEditorContent("Test Content ");

Details: When calling the replaceEditorContent function in RichText?.js via FF, it fails all condition checks and does not execute any other functions directly.

Update: The issue seems to occur only if a widget is created and immediately an attempt to replace the content is made. A delay implemented using setInterval of 500 ms fixed the issue temporarily.

that is due to the limitation of FF: it takes some time in this case, no way around this AFAICT
