docscripts makeCix.php fails to produce output

Reported by: Sam Foster Owned by: Neil Roberts

Component: Doc parser Version: 1.6.0b1

Description

If you run

$ php util/docscripts/makeCix.php

..there are a cascade of problems that cause the script to fail to produce output.

1) Some files have documentation format errors in them that are causing the parser to recurse and bail. Ideally, the parse would pre-process or something to avoid getting into this state. This is not necessarily specific to makeCix.php as the same issues can be observed with _browse2.php e.g. on dojox/grid/_View.js

2) There are some unhandled errors that can occur that lead to warning junk in the output (once the problematic files have been skipped).

I'm going to attach a hacked makeCix.php that side-stepped the issues in order to get /some/ output. It doesn't represent a real patch of solution, but might help track that down.

TreeView seems fixed. This patch adds names to the amd wrapping so the parser, when working on the fly against an un-amd'd tree, will find it as AMD. Not sure if the anonymous thing is supported by the build either.

Closing since old doc parser is being replaced by Colin's new doc parser (written in javascript).
