Description (last modified by bill)

IE 7 does not follow CSS rules strictly. For exmaple I am using dijit.form.Button to test in IE7. The padding spaces from text to button edge of "OK" button and "Cancel" button are not the same. Button height is longer than what CSS specifys (actual 26 vs CSS spec 21)

<button dojoType="dijit.form.Button" id="helloButton10" tabindex="8" onClick="javascript:alert('dijit.form.Button resides with xwt.widget.TextButton');" >dijit.Button1</button>
<button dojoType="dijit.form.Button" id="helloButton13" tabindex=11" onClick="javascript:alert('dijit.form.Button resides with xwt.widget.TextButton');" >OK</button>
<button dojoType="dijit.form.Button" id="helloButton14" tabindex=12" onClick="javascript:alert('dijit.form.Button resides with xwt.widget.TextButton');" >Cancel</button>

I don't understand your sample code (are the alerts relevant to the sample? what's XWT?), but as for Button width that's something we've dealt with in the past. It's an annoying bug of IE but we have CSS/JS to fix it.

Looking at test_Button.html in 1.4 and even test_Button.html in 1.3 IE7 seems to be working fine for me.
