I don't understand your request. The summary is PopupMenuBarItem, but the description talks about plain MenuItem. Which is it?

Clicks on disabled items are already ignored. See the "Disabled Submenu" in the side menu and "Disabled" in the MenuBar in test_Menu.html. Is that not working for you? Or do you want something else?

Also, for all tickets, please list an actual summary in the summary field, not just one word.

11I would like to request a little enhancement with menus.
2 If I create a MenuItem with state disabled (or change its state to disabled), the display is correct but given no special event exists for click except the standard onClick event, I have to test the menuitem state in the onClick handler.
2If I create a !MenuItem with state disabled (or change its state to disabled), the display is correct but given no special event exists for click except the standard onClick event, I have to test the menuitem state in the onClick handler.

44It should be nice to have a special event (onItemClick for example) that does this work
