Description

dijit.Editor should style the cursor for the iframe body so that it always looks like a text selection

This makes it less confusing/odd when moving the mouse around in the editor body. You get a cursor you expect.

Do any of you see an issue with this? It's minor and I think makes the edit area look better from a mouse over perspective.

comment:2 Changed 10 years ago by liucougar

what if you mouse over an inline image? I think by default the cursor is not text

I noticed CKEditor has an arrow cursor over images but a text select (I) cursor when over text.

If you mouse over images, you still get the right cursor. I tried it.

And if you don't believe me, try it. :-)

FireFox? does it right, so does IE. Chrome/WebKit? doesn't. Will need to review a better solution. :-)

Closing this. Did more investigation. We're already working like CK does, so no point in messing with the styles further. Can revisit later.
