#10123 closed defect (wontfix)

getDates function

Reported by: joebowbeer Owned by: anonymous
Priority: high Milestone: tbd
Component: General Version: 1.4.0b
Keywords: Cc:

Description

In dojo.cal.iCalendar.VEvent.getDates:

http://svn.dojotoolkit.org/src/trunk/src/cal/iCalendar.js

The condition in the "byyearday" loop is comparing the wrong index variable:

for (var z=1; x<rrule["byyearday"].length; z++) {

x is the outer loop variable, which is probably 0. Also, why does z start at 1 and not 0? Suggest:

for (var z=0; z<rrule["byyearday"].length; z++) {

Judging by the URL, this is from the 0.4 release (or earlier)?

There's no iCalendar.js in 1.4, I don't think it was even in 0.9. And we aren't making fixes to 0.4 anymore.

You might check out the dojocal work, which hasn't yet landed in Dojo. http://github.com/psychcf/dojo-cal
